Los 80 temporada 6 720p mkvBy: williamwinn10After a week of waiting and waiting and waiting, the new season of Los 80 has finally arrived. The wait for this show was excruciating, especially after finding out about the guest stars of this season (can you say "Ray Liotta"!) but I am happy to say that it was worth it. Season Six delivered an amazing finale that brought us back to our roots and had some great moments like when we found out Mariana's favorite song was disco (who would've thought). Let's start with the opening scene because it was pretty epic. It was a big band, big orchestra song that really got us in the mood for this new season. And when I say "big", I mean it. The set was beautiful but probably was the biggest set that they have ever used in six seasons. It was beautiful, it had multiple levels, different rooms and everything! What can I say? We were back to our roots with Los 80. And the costumes... well... a few were a little outdated and a couple looked a bit "too modern" but overall, the costumes were pretty great. We even got our Italian friend, Angelo back this season after he quit last season which was awesome! The opening credits were pretty awesome too with all of their old 80's hits playing throughout the entire thing. I really enjoyed it. One thing I think needs to be improved is how they filmed these episodes. I think they should film them in a different way because it really makes the episode seem rushed which throws off everything. For example, in one scene when Mariana and Adrian are walking to the school, every time they turned toward each other, that wonderful music that played was missing. This made it feel as if they were just walking and not talking. It really ruined the mood for that scene. One other thing that was a little too rushed was when Mariana and Adrian drove to see Roberta's performance as Meryl Streep instead of taking the time to take in the scenery and whatnot. And I don't think it should be so rushed because we actually got to see them drive to the school and warn her about her first public performance which was hilarious! And let's not forget about how much we saw these two kiss. I mean, I totally get why they did it because their relationship is getting serious and she's letting him in with the diary but still, the kiss was too short! Don't worry though because if you're anything like me, it doesn't matter what happens in one episode you are still excited for the next. And that is especially true with this season. So let's talk about our main characters. Judy was a pretty interesting character this season and I really liked how they told her story and how she left Miami and moved back to Miami to actually help raise her son and made her comeback at the end of the season. And we found out why she moved back here: Adrian.
